A Legacy Restored

Vintage Terrace is located in the heart of Willamette Valley Wine country and is more than just a place to stay — it's a journey through time, complete with a spa-style hot tub. Originally constructed in 1902, this remarkable building was first established as a church, made possible by the generous land donation of Peter Smith, a notable figure in the area’s early history.

After serving its initial religious purpose, the building sat unused for a few years, its future uncertain. Then, in 1927, it found new life as a Finnish Lutheran Church, reflecting the vibrant cultural heritage of the community at that time. Later, in 1949, the building was repurposed again — this time as a Rebekah Lodge, part of a global organization that offers principles of friendship, truth, and is devoted to community service and fellowship.

In the 1980s, the structure underwent yet another transformation, this time into a private residence. Thoughtfully restored and maintained, the home preserved much of its historical charm while gaining the comforts of modern living. Now, in 2025, we are proud to open Vintage Terrace as a short-term rental for the very first time in its long and storied history.
